Mermaid Classes for Children

Introduction

Our monthly mermaid classes allow already certified mermaid girls to practice, refine their skills, and learn new techniques while diving in a safe, shallow pool with qualified peers.

During the summer season, we enjoy diving in the outdoor diving pool, and in winter, we use the indoor pool facilities.

Prerequisites

• Properly filled and signed declarations.

• Minimum age 6 (for minors, a parent or guardian must remain on site)

• Good health

• Participation in PADI Mermaid Experience Swimming

Mermaid Class Procedure

Mermaid classes consist of two segments: a brief briefing and a pool session in mermaid fins.

•Briefing: Before entering the water, we do a short stretch on the poolside and discuss the class topic and safety rules.

•Pool Session: We start with a relaxing water warm-up, then practice tasks focusing on the training topic, and end with a game.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable swimsuit

• Slippers

• Drink

• Monofins, mermaid fins, and tops are available for rent during the class. Occasional rental: 2000 HUF/session. Weight belts and wetsuit rental are not available during classes. However, it is recommended to acquire your own equipment once you start regular classes. Recommended brands:

o Monofin: Mermaid Linden, FinFun, Suntails, Mermaid Kat. For beginners, the Mermaid Linden monofin is recommended.

o Mermaid fin: Cape Cali, Mertailor, FinFun, Suntails, Mermaid Kat
